It's been a busy week at the Roseau County Fair for our local 4-H'ers.
Grygla Go-Getters represent at Roseau County 4-H Livestock Auction!
The Roseau County 4-H Blue Ribbon Market Livestock Auction was held today at 1 p.m. in the Main Barn Show Ring at the Roseau County Fair. WJ Auction led the premium-only event, with four members of the Grygla Go-Getters 4-H Club qualifying and taking part: Gus Jones, Presley Anderson, Natasha Malwitz and Emry Neuschwander.
Members of the Grygla Merchants purchased Gus Jones’s market beef steer. They include: American State Bank & Insurance Agency, Farmer’s Union Oil Co., Grygla Lions, Machinewell, Grygla Seed, Grove Cattle Co. and Brobst Family Farm.
Polaris purchased Presley Anderson’s; Border Bank purchased Natasha Malwitz’s; Quality Liquid Feeds purchased Emry Neuschwander's goat. (Not pictured.)
Thank you to all buyers for supporting local youth. 80% of each bid is given to the 4-H’er while 20% is donated in support of the county-wide 4-H programming.
Three of the 4-H kids are pictured here with their buyers. Not pictured: Emry Neuschwander. Also included are a few photos from the 4-H Beef and Sheep shows held earlier this week.
Members of the Grygla Go-Getters have had a full schedule at the fair and will also be working in the 4-H food stand tonight. If you don’t have supper plans, head up to the Roseau County Fair and grab a bite while supporting a great cause!
