Gerald Langness' homemade entries shine at the Roseau County Fair.

Gerald Langness, of Grygla, enjoys spending time in the kitchen, baking and preserving foods to share with others.

This year, he brought a variety of homemade goods to the Roseau County Fair for open class judging, and his entries were once again well received!

He earned a Reserve Champion ribbon for his chocolate chip coconut graham cracker cookies, and first place ribbons for his krumkaka, Amish friendship bread and lefse. He also took home second place for his Bing cherry sauce, peach jam and peach pie.

People around the area already know how delicious Gerald’s goodies are, whether they’ve bought them or been lucky enough to get a sample. Entering them at the fair has been a fun way for him to take part and share what he enjoys doing!
